The CU Trade Fair is usually a time for student businesses and initiatives to take centre stage. This year’s edition was no different; students engaged in various activities ranging from fashion and food to tech and education.
The trade fair held from October 25 to 27.
One of the more popular attractions of the trade fair was Papa’s Grill. A fast food outlet that specialized in chips and BBQ chicken. The FIFA stands also drew large crowds, mostly boys who were eager to part with 500 Naira in exchange for game time in FIFA 19 on a Playstation 4.
The karaoke stand also attracted tonnes of students, with vocal skill ranging from superior to bleh, who were interested in trying their voice in matching popular songs word for word.
There were also the fashion stands, selling work and casual clothes, wigs, jerseys and footwear. There was also a sprinkling of bole and fish stands selling the popular South-South delicacy.
